Walk Training Morning Social Walk & Afternoon Training Modules

Leading is fun, rewarding and you get to choose what sort of walks the Group offers . .what's not to like? If you are a Ramblers member and you've thought about leading walks and what's involved, or you are already a leader - come along to our walk leader session next Sat 27th Sept. We'll start the day at 10.30am with an optional short 5.5km walk around the Coalbrookdale woods and dingles, and then move into the Community Room at the Severn Gorge Countryside Trust 12noon, in Darby Road to eat a packed lunch plus there will be free hot drinks, cakes and biscuits available. The first short training session module will start 1.00pm and the second ends at 4pm. You're welcome to come just for the walk, and for one or both of the two training modules or just drop in and chat to fellow leaders. There will be other resources available on the day for our leaders too such as local walking books and walking routes to browse and high vis jackets. So do come along for all or part of the day.
