It's been a LONG time since Hooncorp hosted a circuit track day, but we've been given the opportunity to do a track day on the Hampton National circuit!
So, how's this all going to work?
The cost is $295 per driver, which includes all fees and the track's Safety levy.
This does NOT include garage spaces, and a price of those will be available soon.
All entrants who do not use a garage, will have parking provided.
This event is going to be run cautiously. As such, there are more criteria than previously.
We can NOT accept dirt track cars, speedway or any other type of vehicle, other than road or race type cars.
No passengers in either road or race cars - period!
(Rookie drivers or rookies to Hampton can participate in a controlled pre-event "duckling tour")
Drivers need either a road license (at least a restricted) or a competition license
Drivers must wear good condition race overalls, helmet, neck restraint, shoes and gloves.
Cars must be in safe condition, and front + rear lights must work.
No rubbish or loose objects in the car. Battery must be secure.
Car fire extinguishers are not mandatory, but are welcome.
Sump plugs may be wired secure, absolutely no fluid leaks will be allowed.
We can not run cars with slick tyres for obvious reasons.
Driving standards must be very high, the track manager's decision re poor driving is final.
We will be running 4 x 15 minute sessions per hour.
The classes will be:
Slow road car (slower than a 1.25)
Fast road car (roughly 1.18 - 1.25 )
Slow race car (slower than a 1.25)
Fast race car (roughly 1.15 - 1.25)
If cars have no WOF or homologation, they must be scrutineered before heading on track.
We are anticipating 15 - 20(max) cars per class, and reserve the right to mix ' n ' match cars to make speeds as similar as possible.

If we do not have sufficient entries by August 10, we will cancel, and 100% refund any payments.
We will not refund no-shows, and will work to help any participant to re-sell their spot if unable to attend.
This event will run wet or dry, unless unsafe to do so.
