In this session, George will present a deep dive into the architecture and strategy behind the custom AI Agent deployed at Veli.Store. This isn't just another chatbot; it's designed to function as a 24/7 self-service analyst for all stakeholders, capable of querying complex database structures and providing instant answers.
George will explore the technical challenges of blending RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) with internal company data and why this approach is becoming the true successor to traditional visual BI tools. To keep the content engaging, he will also share the journey of giving this agent a personality - teaching it company-specific slang and humor - effectively turning it into his "Digital Clone".
This talk offers a pragmatic look at Generative AI’s role in accelerating analytics and why AI Agents represent the next evolution in data accessibility, freeing up Data Analysts for more strategic work.
George Sabadze was born on June 15, 1994 — the very day The Lion King premiered — and has been exploring data kingdoms ever since. A graduate of the Free University of Tbilisi with a BBA in Finance, George first honed his analytical mindset at the I. Vekua N42 Physics and Mathematics School.
With over 12 years of experience in data, he began his career at TBC Bank as a Data Analyst and Senior Data Engineer before moving into leadership roles focused on scaling data platforms. For the past four years, as Head of Data at Veli.Store, he has led the company’s transformation from a five-person startup into a market leader. His expertise spans Data Engineering (AWS, Airflow, Python/SQL), Advanced Analytics (Predictive Modeling, Econometrics), and the pragmatic implementation of Generative AI.
George architected Veli.Store’s full data ecosystem — automating ETL processes and pioneering innovations such as AI analytical agents for self-service BI, a custom BI platform, an AI-powered search engine, and AI-driven content creation tools.

It highlights how recommendation engines are shifting from reacting to past behavior to anticipating customer needs, reshaping the commerce landscape, redefining customer experience, and revealing the hidden complexity and challenges this transformation brings for data teams.
Konstantin is a Senior Technology and Delivery leader with extensive experience across eCommerce, Life Sciences & Healthcare, and Energy domains. Konstantin currently leads complex programs and large-scale digital initiatives in EPAM, providing business strategy, data, and technology execution. Drawing on years of hands-on experience in enterprise platforms, data-driven solutions, and organizational transformation, he shares practical insights into modern trends and challenges in the eCommerce industry, combining real-world case studies with EPAM’s best practices.
