Noel: The Samba Poet (Noel, Poeta da Vila) is a 2006 Brazilian biographical drama directed by Ricardo Van Steen. The film chronicles the life of Noel Rosa in the early 20th century, one of Brazil’s most iconic samba composers, whose music shaped modern Brazilian culture.
