Explore how to turn the patterns and shadows that inspire you—like quilt motifs or city streetlight shapes—into dynamic cutout designs on your pottery. In this workshop with Kollin Baker, you'll dive into 30 years of hands-on experience with clay and learn to develop your own visual language through cut patterns. Topics include choosing the right clay body, understanding surface treatments inside and out, and experimenting with slips, glazes, and colored clay.

Artists can opt to fire their pieces at AOC or take them home at end of workshop.
