July 2025 - West Coast Swing Beginners Block Course

If you’ve never danced before, or you want to learn some new steps, come along and enjoy this popular swing style. It’s a partner dance but you don’t need to bring a partner because everyone rotates throughout the class.

The six week course starts on Monday 19th May 2025 at 7:30pm at the Matua Hall, 110 Levers Rd, Matua Tauranga. The classes continue until the 18th August. Then there is a social night on the 25th August, which is either dancing or meeting for drinks somewhere.

Cost is $60 for the six week course, or $15 per night on a casual basis.
