Hoops on the Waterfront with Whai Basketball

Whai Basketball are hitting the half court for a free community event in the Tauranga City Centre – and you’re invited!

Join us next to the new waterfront playground for an afternoon of hoops, skills, and fun with some of your favourite Whai players. Whether you're a seasoned baller or just keen to give it a go, this is an event for everyone.

Shoot hoops and learn new tricks
Chat with the players and hear their stories
Join in on friendly competitions and games with the pros
It’s free, accessible, and open to all ages and skill levels – just come along and get amongst the action!

Please note: in case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to Wednesday 1 October.
