Beneath the Surface
In a world where we are so busy and constantly consuming the things around us, it’s easy to become disconnected from ourselves. By going deeper into our bodies and contemplating the foundations of our bones, we begin to understand our journey from the embryo, spiralling and growing into adulthood. Our bones feed and nourish us from the inside out, providing a recognition of what we can do spiritually and physically to support ourselves.
Our ancestors bones are not just remnants of the past but hold stories and wisdom passed through generations. They remind us of where we come from and connect us to a lineage that goes beyond the physical realm. By honouring our ancestors, we acknowledge the spiritual continuity that transcends time and space.
Through these reflections, we can deepen our understanding of the spiritual significance of our physical form and the legacy we carry within our bones. It is a reminder to cherish the intangible aspects of life and the connections that bind us across generations.
About Carolyn
Carolyn is an advocate of pursuing one’s dreams and aspirations, She believes that what truly matters is personal happiness, regardless of other peoples opinions. She has embraced wellness throughout her life, and despite dealing with old injuries and a hearing impairment, she continues to live life on her own terms.
Carolyn completed a 100-hour Somatic Dance workshop led by the inspiring coach Sarsha Hope. She finds that dancing is incredibly beneficial for releasing stagnant energy and easing tight joints.
