KAA 2025 Locals Weekend!

We’re thrilled to announce our very first LOCALS WEEKEND is coming up in October. This event is designed to give local residents the opportunity to experience what KAA is all about for a significant discount. This offer is only available to folk that call the Taupo and Ruapehu Districts home.

What’s on offer:
Kaimanawa Descent – our legendary 22km heli-biking trail through alpine tussock and native beech forest. $280 per person (normally $480)

Scenic flight over Mt Ruapehu – $330 per person (normally $400).

Everyone that rides the Kaimanawa Descent or hops on a scenic flight will score a FREE Lakeman beer and sausage sizzle! Plus, you’ll go in the draw to win some epic spot prizes.
