Willow Flower Baskets

Learn the timeless craft of basket weaving and create a beautiful flower basket using locally grown Somerset willow. In this friendly, hands-on workshop, you’ll be guided step by step as you shape and weave your own sturdy, rustic basket — perfect for gathering fresh blooms from the garden, displaying dried flowers, or gifting to someone special.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or have tried willow work before, you’ll pick up traditional techniques, enjoy a few mindful hours with like-minded people, and leave with a practical piece that celebrates Somerset’s rich willow heritage.

Please feel free to bring along a packed lunch to enjoy in your lunch break, tea and coffee will be available in the workshop room.
