Alex Roche is a multiple award winning guitarist that has performed across the UK, in Canada, Taiwan, The United States and the Cayman Islands. He has performed in venues such as King’s Place London, the Royal Albert Hall, St.Martin-in-the-Fields, St.James’s Piccadilly and CICCIC!
Last time Alex performed at CICCIC he delivered an exciting programme that explored how music can depict landscape, but this time Alex plays the guitar… Alex Roche plays lots of guitars.
Come see Alex Roche give a show on acoustic, electric, classical, 7 string, 10 string, slide and prepared guitars, ukuleles as well as some other surprises along the way!
There will be an eclectic mix of music from the Great American Songbook, the Classical Canon, Folk to Film Music via Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar and maybe even a little metal thrown in for good measure.
You can expect to hear some well loved classical guitar favourites such as Isaac Albeniz’s ‘Asturias’, as well as popular song arrangements and original compositions. Be sure not to miss out!
This is a seated event and like last time Alex will provide a performance and music experience that will be unforgettable.
