Savor the Season: Food Dehydration Workshop

We are partnering with the Colchester-East Hants Public Library to bring you this food preservation workshop in the height of the season. Dehydration is the earliest known method of food preservation, is simple to do, and creates a shelf stable product.

At this workshop, you will learn how to:

Create your own fruit leathers, veggie chips, herbal teas and culinary herbs.

Extend local food shelf life & enhance flavor

Preserve the bounty AND retain nutritional value

Cut grocery costs and reduce waste

And, of course, sample of the deliciousness : )
