Malagash Community Park Visioning & free BBQ

The home base of the Wellness through Wilderness project will be the eight-acre property at the Malagash Museum/Community Hall.

This event is a visioning event to get community members ideas and feedback on what they would like to see in their park. All ages are welcomed. Bring your ideas.

Through activities and publicity we will attract people to visit the property on their own, to walk through the forest, by the marsh or watch birds at feeds, or to take part in organized activities. Community engagement will mean residents and visitors take what they learn and enjoy in this project--such growing native oaks or attracting native hummingbirds--home with them wherever they live, thus extending the impact far beyond the park’s property.
