Trexuse isikunäitus "C.R.E.A.M.'s" / Trexus' personal exhibiton "C.R.E.A.M.'s"

2015. aastal ilmus ühele vaiksele tänavale Leedus kujutis – kinniseotud silmadega antropomorfiseeritud rahapakk. See oli C.R.E.A.M. tegelaskuju sünd: looming, mille kujundas tänavamüra ning Wu-Tangi ikooniline kummitama jääv hümn.

Leedu illustraator ja tänavakunstnik Trexus järgis mantrat “Cash Rules Everything Around Me” („Raha valitseb kõike minu ümber“), et süveneda identiteedi, rabelemiskultuuri ja ellujäämise üle tänapäeva maailmas. Vilniuse kõrvaltänavatest kuni Malaisia, Berliini, Pariisi, Läti ja Eesti varjatud nurkadeni, C.R.E.A.M.-id kasvasid nii pealtnägijateks kui ka hoiatusteks.

See isikunäitus Eestis koondab haruldase kollektsiooni originaalteoseid ja trükiseid, mis jälgivad C.R.E.A.M. tegelaskuju arengut läbi aastate ja üle mandrite. Visuaalne päevik teekonnast grafitimaailmast galeriisse, seintelt raamideni. Jutustus sellest, mida me taga ajame, mida kaotame ja kelleks me selle käigus saame.

In 2015, on a quiet street in Lithuania, a figure appeared—anthropomorphized pack of cash with its eyes blinded. This was the birth of the C.R.E.A.M’s character: a creation shaped by street noise and the iconic rhythm of Wu-Tang’s anthem.

Trexus, a Lithuanian illustrator and street artist, followed the mantra “Cash Rules Everything Around Me” into a deeper meditation on identity, hustle culture and survival in the modern world. From alleyways in Vilnius to hidden corners in Malaysia, Berlin, Paris, Latvia, Estonia and beyond, the C.R.E.A.M’s became both a witness and a warning.

This solo show in Estonia gathers a rare collection of original works and prints that trace the evolution of the C.R.E.A.M’s character over years and across continents. A visual diary of the journey from streets to gallery, from graffiti to frames. A story of what we chase, what we lose, and who we become in the process.
