Tähistame üheskoos illustratsiooni, arutame valdkonnaga seotud olulistel teemadel ja avastamisrõõmu leidub kõigile meie laia valiku töötubade seast.🖌️📚
✨ Selle aasta Illustratsioonifestival tähistab Eesti Raamatu Aastat ja festivali peateema on raamatute illustratsioonid.
Kutsume kõiki alates kirjanikest, illustraatoritest kuni innukate lugejateni avastama maailma, kus pilt kohtub sõnaga. 📖✍️
Ühepäevase festivali eeltegevustena avame Galeriide Ööl, 29. augustil, Aparaaditehase Tunneligaleriis illustraatorite näituse.
Näitusele on võimaluse saanud saata tööd kõik illustraatorid, kes festivali turule kandideerisid ning seeläbi loob võimaluse ka neil illustraatoritel enda töid näidata, kes turul kahjuks seekord üles astuda ei saa.
Seega näitusel on üle 50 illustraatori tööd, millel on näha igaühe loodud karakteri joonistust!
Festivalipäeval, 4. oktoobril, toimuvad peale Armastuse saalis toimuva illustraatorite turu mitmed töötoad ja ettekanded.
Töötubades saab õppida ja avastada nii karakteriloomet kui ka näiteks risograafia masinaga trükkimist. Teeme koostööd nii Aparaaditehase, Kogo Galerii, TYPA keskuse kui ka Plantariumi kohvikuga, kes oma ägedaid ruume lahkelt lasevad kultuuril, loomingul ja kunstil üle võtta.
Ülevaatliku ürituse ajakava avalikustame augusti lõpus.
Paljudesse töötubadesse saab juba varakult Fienta keskkonnas töötoa pileti lunastada ning Facebooki lehel piiluda, mis ägedad ettekanded on tulekul.
Tänavuse ägeda visuaali autor on illustraator Kristina Tort. 🎂
Üritust toetavad Eesti Kultuurikapitali Kirjanduse Sihtkapital ja Tartu linn.
Üritus on tasuta ja ootab külla kõiki huvilisi.

ENG: Tartu Illustration Festival (TIF) is back! Join us on October 4th at Aparaaditehas, Tartu for a one-day celebration of illustration, creativity and storytelling. 🖌️📚
The festival brings together illustrators, graphic designers and artists from Estonia and abroad. There will be workshops, presentations, talks and an illustration fair.
✨ This year marks our first-ever theme year – and it’s all about book illustrations! Whether it’s zines, poetry books, or children’s literature, we’re diving deep into the art of visual storytelling. 📖🧸✍️
As a prelude to the one-day festival, we will open an illustrators' exhibition at the Tunnel Gallery of the Aparaaditehas on the Night of Galleries, on August 29th. All illustrators who applied for the festival market have been able to submit their work to the exhibition, which will also create an opportunity for those illustrators who are not part of the market this time. There are over 50 illustrators works and they all showcase a character drawing.
On the day of the festival, on October 4th, in addition to the illustrators' market in the Armastuse hall, several workshops and presentations will take place.
In the workshops, visitors can learn and discover zine creation as well as, for example, riso printing or character drawing. We are collaborating with Aparaaditehas, Kogo Gallery, TYPA Center, and Plantarium Café, who are kindly opening their doors to be filled with festival culture, creativity, and art.
We'll announce a comprehensive schedule of the programme by the end of August.
You can redeem your workshop ticket for many workshops in advance at the Fienta environment and take a peek at the upcoming presentations on the Facebook page.
The event is supported by the Estonian Cultural Endowment for Literature and the City of Tartu.
This years awesome visual has been drawn by illustrator Kristina Tort. 🎂
