Summer Saturdays at Philipsburg Manor
We're all about textiles for this Summer Saturday! Join us to learn about how fabric was made in colonial times, from spinning to dyeing.

Hear about how "runaway ads" provide historians with some of the only descriptions of what enslaved people wore during special presentations.

Kids can create their own quilts and Malian bogolan cloth to take home!

Summer Saturdays are a weekly series of themed days for families to get hands-on with history. Activities include historic demonstrations, crafts, tours, and more.
