In celebration of a newly gifted piano, tenor Isaí Jess Muñoz and pianist Oksana Glouchko present a recital as transportive as it is intimate — an exquisitely curated program of Iberian and French art songs that trace a cultural pas de deux from sun-drenched Barcelona to Belle Époque Paris.
Muñoz, a celebrated tenor, is known for his expressive artistry and global appearances with ensembles from the New York Philharmonic and Mostly Mozart at Lincoln Center to Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre on Broadway. His collaborator, the virtuoso pianist Oksana Glouchko — praised for her commanding interpretations from Bach to Ravel — matches that intensity with nuance and grace. Together, they offer a program that is both deeply scholarly and emotionally immediate.
