Jaywalkers music plays on the strengths of each member all encompassed by Mike’s musically crafted and lyrically perceptive song writing. Jaywalkers are a real melting pot of their collective inspirations and the influences of their musical upbringings. This is evident in their live sets which come to life in their use of Country heartbreak and Bluegrass dynamism applied to issues of the modern day and life as a touring band.

Bernard’s performance style ranges from poignant tear-jerkers to downright silly, from traditional to contemporary. Songs may be unaccompanied or self-accompanied on his many instruments (one at a time, usually…!), and he was privileged to count the late Ted Edwards as one of his close friends, performing a few of his excellent songs. It’s always a pleasure to have Bernard performing at Manley.
