The Haunted Mine

Hidden within the shadowed woods on the outskirts of the small town of Tarentum Pennsylvania, deep within the bowels of the earth lies the Haunted Mine, owned and operated by the scrupulous Louis W. Hicks during the late 1800s. The mine, now abandoned, is the final resting place of the hundreds of restless souls that died during its operation. Young and old, women and children, no one was safe from the reaches of Hicks. Tortured and forced into slave labor to work his mine and help build his fortune most perished and now roam the tunnels of the mine forever.
250 feet above this tomb rests the opulent Hicks mansion, now deserted and left for ruin. The souls of the mine now possess the halls of this estate and roam its corridors in search for revenge. Just beyond the mansion near the mouth of the mine lays the Hick’s Family cemetery, the final resting place of the Hicks family as well as many of the miners who perished in their servitude. It is also the final home of Hicks himself, buried alive in a brick crypt with a spell cast upon him that keeps him alive but binds him for all eternity within the walls of this grave. You can see him breathing within this tomb should you be brave enough to enter.

You will be transported by rail into mouth of the mine, then travel over 200 feet down by elevator to the base of the mine.
