Pool Proficiency MUST be completed prior to participation in any Nipper activities which commence Sunday 19 October.
Insurance restrictions prohibit registration of children under the age of 5 years (age as of 30 September).
This day is purely for Pool Proficiency only - no memberships will be processed or taken on this day, nor will any uniforms be sold (eftpos not available).

We note it is a requirement of SLSNSW that all nippers and parent membership be paid in full prior to your nipper being able to participate in nipper activities.
We note it is a requirement that nippers MUST wear a Pink Safety Vest and Nipper Cap during nipper beach activities, both of which can be purchased online with your membership.

It is a requirement of all nippers registrations that one parent or carer also join as a member of the club and be willing to actively assist with weekly nippers activities and club raffles.
As required by SLSNSW and SLS Australia, anyone actively engaged in Nipper activities is required to complete the mandatory Age Manager course, and that parent will also be required to provide the Club with a current working with children check number.
The age group in which a child will participate is calculated as at midnight 30th September. For example, if a child’s age at 30th September is 12 years, then the child will be in the under 13’s age group, while a child who turns 12 after 30th September will be in the under 12 age group.
Proficiency times will be as follows:
Under 6’s, 7’s and 8’s - 10.00am to 10.30am
Under 9’s, 10’s and 11’s - 10.30am to 11.00am
Under 12’s, 13’s and 14’s - 11.00am to 11.30am
Entry fees may also be payable to the Aquatic Centre on the day.
Please ensure your nipper is ready to participate in the proficiency as soon as they arrive at the YMCA.
