In Loving Memory- A Lantern Release & Ash Scattering Ceremony
Honoring the Life and Light of Santana "Tana"
One year ago, the world dimmed for all of us who loved her. Since then, we've carried her memory in the quiet moments and loud ones, in laughter and in tears, in sunsets and sudden signs that somehow feel like her.
To mark this anniversary, we will gather to release lanterns and scatter her ashes. A symbol of letting go while holding on. The light from each lantern represents the way that she she lit up our lives: full of warmth, mischief and fierce love. The ashes scattered into the wind and earth speak to how she is now a part of everything, in the sky, in the trees, in the breeze that brushes past when we need her most.
This moment is not about saying goodbye again, its about honoring all of the ways she still lives in on in us. Through memory. Through love. Through legacy.
Please join us as we celebrate her spirit, her strength, and her infinite light.
