"Casting the Light"

This special show explores the deep connection between painting and fly fishing—honoring the legacy of E.L. Blumenschein, who was not only a founding member of the Taos Society of Artists but also an avid fisherman. The exhibition will feature a curated selection of work by artists who share a love for rivers, trout, and the art of angling.

Organized by the Blumenschein Home and Museum, we are partnering with Friends of the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument as a beneficiary of the event. A portion of sales would also support the museum and conservation efforts.

Artists Nathaniel Volckening, Daniel Barela, Dan Stovall, Jivan Lee, Aaron Garlick, Greg Moon, Sophia Smith, Tony Pro, Lynn Garlick, Luke Anderson, Karen McCurtain Blair, Charity Anderson, Whitney Gardner, Stephen Day and Sophie Smith are just a few of the participating artists.
