The inaugural Gladstone Art Science Innovation fest - part of National Science week is a 2 day event on the lands of the Bailai, Gurang, Gooreng Gooreng, and Taribelang Bunda peoples.
Day two is kindly supported by Calliope Rotary Club, Gladstone Regional Council, Birdlife and Australian Conservation Foundation

Under the banner of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM), come and experience a range of activities and workshops including:
Caring for country - what are some of the things we can all do every day?
Artist Commission award winner - Mellisa Peacock will present her work “Connecting People & Place: Ecophsycology and Regional Community Arts”
Listening to our planet - what might this place sound like in 1000 years?
Music in Nature - listening to the sounds of nature with bird identification work with Birdlife
Climate Change Syneasthesia - can you smell the climate changing?
Move for the planet - can riding a bike really make that much of a different?
Low Carbon Picnic - what might our kitchens look like at the end of the century? Chef Steve Bell has created dishes from the region in 2 and 4 degree worlds at the end of the century, taste and vote on your favourite flavours!!!
Sunset Sound Walk - Professor Vanessa Tomlinson will take us on a sonic journey presenting an international premiere of a commissioned work, closing the festival at sunset
