Heritage Day Open Tower Event

It's now less than 2 weeks until the tower open day at St Editha's on Heritage Day, Saturday 13th September.
The tower will be opened at 11 am and last admission is 2 pm.
It is your chance to climb the rare double helix staircase, view the town from the top of the tower. Then descend to view the bells, followed by the ringing room.
Anyone who would like to find out about learning to ring the church bells is encouraged to come along, as we are looking to recruit volunteers.

No under 8 year olds can be admitted and u nder 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

As there are over 100 steep steps, this is not suitable for anyone with heart or breathing problems.

Flat footwear and handsfree are recommended.
