Zouk Open House w/ Vincent and Yashmin @ The Dance Factory Tampa

Join us as we dive into the beautiful world of Brazilian Zouk! This course is designed to give you a strong foundation in the fundamental movements of the dance, with a focus on safety, comfort, and the body mechanics that make leading and following feel natural and enjoyable.

Among the movements we’ll cover are the basic step, lunge, Viradinha, Lateral, Soltinho, Yo Yo, Bonus, body isolations, and body waves—all essential building blocks for your Zouk journey. Our goal is to get you social dancing at a comfortable level within just a few classes, while continuing to expand your movement vocabulary week by week.

Along the way, you’ll discover the incredible versatility of Zouk—it can be danced to Brazilian music as well as pop, hip hop, R&B, lyrical, and many other genres.

Whether you have experience or you’re brand new to partner dance, we can’t wait to share the joy of Brazilian Zouk with you and welcome you into our growing community.
