Vegetable Gardening for Central Florida

This presentation will provide attendees with the information they need to prepare, begin, and manage a vegetable garden.
Vegetable gardening in our region can be both rewarding and challenging. This presentation will provide attendees with the information they need to start a vegetable garden including choosing and preparing a site, preparing the soil, choosing the right plants for the season including Florida varieties, watering, and fertilizing. It will also provide information on how to deal with garden pests and diseases.
