THE SPITFIRE GRILL

THE SPITFIRE GRILL is based on the 1996 film of the same name, with book and music by James Valcq, and lyrics and book by Fred Alley. This poignant musical reveals the struggles of a young woman, just been released from prison, who makes the decision to begin a new life in a rural town in Wisconsin. In striving to create a new life for herself, she also helps to bring life, joy, and love back to the town. Michael Staczar, Chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance, and Associate Professor of Theatre, will direct and choreograph this production.
