Public Information for attending the River O' Green ride on the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa on Saturday March 14th, 2026

Itenerary:
We'll be launching from Lowry Park Boat Ramp at 9:30 to dock near the Curtis Hixson Park and hang out before they close the pass throughs of the river.
They will close off the river to boat traffic on both sides at the bridges in front of Curtis Hixson park before 11 am. Thats when they start to dye the river green with water safe dye. 💚 It takes about 30 min for them to dye the water from a fire boat. Then they will open the waterway to NO WAKE traffic.
Note: Yamahas be kind and turn off your spouts. You will be bumper to bumper with other jet skis and boats.
Wave to the crowds, wear green and take several pass throughs of the river of green. Don't forget pics and videos!
Many people will be meeting over at Beer Can Island after the parade to hang, then ride to the Diddy and have lunch at The Tiki restaurant. Weather looks great so far. Might be a little choppy to Beer Can.
We'll ride by ear.
Three Ramps in the area. Remember there will also be many boats so arrive early.
