About the event

Once Forbidden, Never Forgotten Lecture-Rectial

Information
This lecture-recital by acclaimed baritone Dr. Ryan C. Beal an esteemed performer, scholar, and educator with a distinguished national and international career - sheds light on the extraordinary art songs and operatic works created by composers imprisoned in Terezín, Czech Republic, under the Nazi regime. It also explores the broader context of Entartete Musik, which was banned due to the ethnicity or background of its creators. These remarkable artists produced music of beauty, resilience, and hope. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to USF College of Design, Art & Performance. All proceeds directly support CDAP students including those who performed today.

Seating is guaranteed until 5 minutes before the show start time. Afterwards, tickets will be released to patrons waiting in line.
