Humanities & Hops: Religious Literacy in Healthcare Education.

Join faculty researchers Tori Lockler, Shaunesse Jacobs Plaisimond, and Garrett Potts for a panel discussion about their Interfaith America-funded initiative exploring religious literacy in healthcare education. Moderated by Michael DeJonge, this conversation will examine how understanding patients' religious and cultural backgrounds can improve healthcare outcomes.

Learn about their curriculum development, partnership with Tampa General Hospital, and efforts to train healthcare professionals in cultural competency. Discover how this work addresses religious diversity as a factor in patient care, contributing to more responsive healthcare delivery.
