– This month’s First Friday in the Heights is all about rolling up your sleeves and making something wonderful. On Friday, September 5th, from 7–10 PM, participating Seminole Heights businesses will open their doors for an evening of hands-on creativity, community connection, and local flavor.
From sewing to painting to meditating, there’s something for every creative spirit:
The Disco Dolls Studio – Sew Your Own Eye Pillow 🪡💜
In collaboration with The Sewist Society, guests can drop in between 7–9 PM to stitch their own lavender-filled eye pillow using sustainable, upcycled materials. A $25 donation supports The Sewist Society’s mission to reduce textile waste through community education. All supplies provided, no sewing experience required.
