Join us for the February TAPPA Social — a fun, low-pressure night out with friends and fellow photographers and videographers from across the Tampa Bay area. If you’ve been wanting more time to connect outside of meetings, put faces to names, trade ideas, talk shop, or simply unwind with your creative community, this is the night to do it.
We’ll be gathering on Wednesday, February 25, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, located at 5223 Orient Rd., Tampa, FL 33610. Our meetup spot will be the Circle Bar on the first floor of the Hard Rock — an easy place to find and a great environment for conversation. Look for the Golden Elvis piano (we’ll be right next to it). If you’ve never been, the Circle Bar has that perfect “pop in, stay awhile” energy, whether you come solo, bring a friend, or roll in with another TAPPA member.
This is all about community: relaxing, laughing, and building relationships with other working creatives in our area. Expect plenty of friendly conversation — business referrals, local venue talk, creative inspiration, gear and lighting chatter, marketing wins (and struggles), favorite shoots, and the kind of networking that doesn’t feel like networking. No agenda. No pressure. Just real connections.
A quick note on logistics: everyone is responsible for their own food and drinks. Come as you are, stay for as long as you can, and feel free to mix and mingle. The only requirement is a good attitude and readiness for an unlimited amount of fun.
