Join us on Sunday, November 2nd for the 5th Annual Candlelight Vigil at Rose Hill Memorial Park—an inclusive evening of remembrance, healing, and community connection.
This special event takes place during a sacred season when cultures around the world pause to honor their departed loved ones—Día de los Muertos, All Saints’ Day, All Souls’ Day, Samhain, Fête Gede, and more. We welcome all backgrounds, beliefs, and traditions to remember together.
In addition to our main ceremony, guests are invited to participate in a variety of heartfelt, family-friendly activities:
✨ Community Activities:
Memory Table / Ofrenda – Bring a photo, candle, or keepsake to place on our shared altar. Cards will be available to write names or messages.
Candle Dedication Ceremony – Light a candle and speak your loved one’s name aloud during a moment of unity and reflection.
Community Art Wall – Contribute to a collaborative mural by drawing, writing, or adding a symbol of remembrance.
Story Circle / Open Mic – Share a brief story or memory of someone you’ve lost. Speaking their name keeps their spirit present.
Letter to Heaven Station – Write a private letter to someone you miss. Keep it, leave it at the altar, or release it symbolically at our designated burn station.
Children’s Craft Table – A space for kids to create remembrance crafts like luminary bags, mini altars, or bracelets.
Grief Resource Corner – Connect with local grief counselors and support organizations offering comfort and guidance.
Whether your grief is new or decades old, we invite you to join us in honoring the lives and legacies of those who came before us.
