SSA Certified Sake Sommelier course

Become a Sake Sommelier!

Coming to Tallinn, and a unique opportunity in the region,
SSA flagship course is a fantastic way to expand both your sake knowledge and sommelier skills.
The Certified Sake Sommelier course is accessible to both trained professionals and sake connoisseurs alike and provides an unbeatable level of sake education and practical knowledge.

This 2-day course covers the following point:

History & culture
Sake production
16 different types of sake to taste and study
Serving, sake vessels and temperatures
Umami and food pairing

The course ends with a 45min exam that includes a written part and a blind taste. Those who pass the exam will receive later a SSA Sake Sommelier certificate and enamel pin.
The Sake Sommelier Association (SSA) is the oldest non-Japanese body to provide formal sake education around the globe for 25 years now.

Jerome Bronzini (Sake Calling) is a SSA Sake Sommelier and Sake Educator as well as a certified Sake Professional by the Sake Education Council, and one of about 200 Sake Scholar worldwide.
