The premise of An Evening of Tales continues in the footsteps of the ancient practice of storytelling. The Daylight Project invites six people from different walks of life to share a story from their lives. Those that decide to come, feel a little more human and a lot less lonely after hearing them out. That’s just the way storytelling works.
The Daylight Project is a queer DIY art community based in Estonia, aiming to occupy and disrupt the institutional status quo.

As part of the exhibition cycle Rooms in Rhymes, during the final weeks of the project, EKKM will open its exhibition spaces to offer a platform for various collectives and collaborations. The exhibitions, which opened cyclically, will begin to close, leaving behind fragments of six curatorial phrases. Now, with more air between the objects, there is space for people—creating the opportunity to invite new stories and gatherings into the exhibition areas.

Jutuõhtu sammub jutuvestmise iidse traditsiooni jälgedes. The Daylight Project kutsub kuus erineva taustaga inimest jagama ühte lugu oma elust. Kuulajad lahkuvad veidi hellemalt ja veidi vähem üksikult — jutuvestmine nii lihtsalt toimib.
The Daylight Project on kväär DIY kunstikogukond, mille eesmärgiks on institutsionaalse status quo segi paiskamine.
Üritus toimub valdavalt inglise keeles, olenevalt jutuvestjatest, lisainfo tulekul.
Näituste tsükli „Riimitud ruumid“ raames avab EKKM projekti viimastel nädalatel oma näituseruumid, et pakkuda platvormi erinevatele kollektiividele ja koostöövormidele. Näitused hakkavad sulguma, ruumidesse jäävad fragmendid kuuest kuraatorsest fraasist, mida kutsume vaatama uue pilguga. Objektide vahele jääb aga õhku uute lugude ja koosolemiste võõrustamiseks.
