Cosmic Friday at the Energy Discovery Centre Planetarium: The Perseid Meteor Shower

✨ The Perseids are racing across the night sky — a summer meteor shower awaited by every astronomy enthusiast! But before the real sky lights up in the dark of night, we invite you to dive into the vastness of the universe on a virtual journey inside the planetarium.

🎬 "The Perseid Meteor Shower" is a special planetarium evening guided by Rauno Pilvik, one of Estonia’s most experienced and charismatic planetarium presenters.

👨‍🚀 During the show, you will:

Travel across the starry sky and follow the paths of meteor showers

Explore where the Perseids come from and why they appear in August

Learn how meteors form, their connection to comets, and how best to observe them

🌌 The show is presented in English.
🎟 The ticket also includes access to the entire discovery centre before the show – arrive at least 30 minutes early to explore the exhibitions, try out experiments, and play with science!
