Bush Hartshorn lõpetas 1982. aastal eriala 'Theatre Language' Dartingtoni Kunstikolledžis. Alates sellest on Bush teinud karjääri kogukonnakunstides, dramaturgina, etendajana, kuraatori ja kunstilise juhina Ühendkuningriikides, Hispaanias, Belgias, Hollandis, Iirimaal ja Taanis, kus ta oli Kopenhaageni Dansehallerne kunstiline juht.
2009. aastast omab ta coachingu kvalifikatsiooni suhete dünaamikas (Relational Dynamics), mis on tugevalt mõjutanud tema tööd tantsukunstnike mentorina. Alates jaanuarist 2025 on Bush mentoriks kunstnikele Austraalias, Küprosel, Ühendkuningriikides, Hispaanias, Poolas, Tšehhis - osana projektist Be SpectACTive (Barbora Látalová & coll.'s "Different?"), mille produtseeris Tanec Praha, mis on ka nende pikaajaline partner tänu Aerowaves’i võrgustikule. Hetkel on ta ka Cagliaris, Itaalias asuva Sardegna Teatro tantsukuraator.
Bush esines Eestis viimati 2006. aastal Kaja Kannu ja ZUGA Ühendatud Tantsijate auhinnatud lavastusega „Naine ja Hunt“.

Bush Hartshorn graduated from Dartington College of Arts in 1982 with a degree in Theatre Language. From that time onwards Bush has pursued a career as a community artist, dramaturge, performer, theatre programmer and artistic director in UK, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Ireland and Denmark where he was the Artistic Director of Dansehallerne Copenhagen.
In 2009 he qualified as a coach in Relational Dynamics which has informed his work in mentoring dance artists. Since January 2015 Bush has been mentoring/coaching artists in Australia, Cyprus, UK, Spain, Poland and Czech Republic - as a part of Be SpectACTive project (Barbora Látalová & coll.'s "Different?") produced by Tanec Praha, which maintains a long-term partnership with them through the Aerowaves network. Currently he is also Dance Curator for Sardegna Teatro, Cagliari, Italy.
Bush last performed in Estonia in 2006 in the award winning Wolf & Woman with Kaja Kann and the United Dancers of Zuga.
