Buckeye Fans and Friends,
The Buckeyes open their football season with a bang this coming Saturday, at home, taking on the pre-season nationally ranked number 1 Texas in a rematch of last season's National Semifinal Championship. The Bucks are ranked number 2 in the pre season polls.
The Buckeyes have big shoes to fill having lost 14 starters to the NFL draft (tying a school record). We are talented, but inexperienced, especially at quarterback where 5 star Julian Sayin will get his first start. But we also have arguably the best receiver and best safety in the country in Jeremiah Smith and Caleb Downs respectively.
Texas sports a staunch and experienced defense and an offense directed by football blueblood Arch Manning at quarterback.
