Launch a Construction Career!

Goodwill Industries Big Bend's no-cost 5-Week Construction Essentials Course starts September 8, 2025 and offers hands-on training in:

🛠️ Workplace safety
🛠️ Construction math
🛠️ Reading construction drawings
🛠️ Hand and power tool use
🛠️ Material handling

Students will earn both the OSHA 10 credential and the NCCER Construction Core credential—two industry-recognized certifications that open doors to opportunity.

Graduates will be invited to a hiring event featuring local employers from a variety of construction fields.

Classes run Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM EST at Goodwill's Prosperity Center in Tallahassee.
