ABOUT:
Ecstatic Dances are barefoot celebrations of improvisation with space held by a live facilitator vibing with the energies. Dancers are invited to move as much or as little as feels good for you and your body. Dancers can release themselves to the rhythm and move freely to the music as the spirit takes them.
Ecstatic Dance is an exploration of you, your body, your feelings, your knowing. Every dance is a new experience allowing you to connect with yourself, with others as you choose, and with the present moment.
Ecstatic Dance is for everyone—all shapes, ages, sizes, and backgrounds to come and express themselves through movement.
The studio space at Kinetic Arts Studio / Tallahassee Capoeira was chosen specifically because of the matted floor allowing for ease of movment and to cushion impact. Maps:

4. We Dance with Consent: Respect others in the space, come with no expectations, judgements, agendas. If dancing with another happens naturally, great! If that dance ends and the person moves on, let them! Body autonomy is held in the highest regard.
