About the event

Ashes To Go

Meet us at the corner of Bannerman Rd. and Tekesta Dr. on Wednesday, February 18 between 7 and 9 am for ASHES-TO-GO. For those who would like to receive the imposition of ashes, but cannot make it to our Ash Wednesday service at 6:15 pm, you can drive through our parking lot and receive ashes and a prayer.

Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent, the season leading up to Easter. The ashes placed on foreheads or hands remind us of our humanity, brokenness, and mortality. Throughout Lent, we journey to the cross through prayer, study, and new spiritual practices.
