Back to School! Takoma Community Cleanup

Let’s welcome students back to a bright, clean, and connected community!

Join neighbors Erin Palmer and Evan Yeats for a back-to-school community cleanup on Sunday, August 17 at 4:00 p.m. We’ll meet at Takoma Elementary School (7010 Piney Branch Road, NW) and clean the area around the school.

We’ll pick up litter, submit 311 requests, and then gather for food and fresh juices at El Sabor a Mexico. All supplies, snacks, and water will be provided. Community service hours available.

We’re also helping to raise funds to support Takoma Elementary School teachers as they gear up for the new year. The PTO's goal is to raise $100 per teacher for classroom supplies and other essentials.
