展覽介紹：
「網路迷因」作為當代最有影響力的文化傳播之一，透過模仿與變異，對政治或社會事件的元素進行複製與語境重組。這其中反映網路世代的集體意識、文化群體的觀念與價值。
在網路迷因的各種內容與形式中，可以讀出普普藝術與觀念藝術以來常見的思維，如語境重組、模仿、變異等等手法，以戲謔、幽默的元素建立社群認同、情緒調適與政治表達。在大眾小眾、主流與非主流間優勝劣汰的過程中，可以觀察到某些迷因的「迷因－基因」具有高度複製性，與突破文化圈的生命力。
這是一個共存互動的狀態，就像微生物與人類基因共同作用。可能透過變異或共生而進化 ，其中包含神話、語言、符號、記憶共生的結果。它的目的不是要精準複製、或是忠誠於原始基因，而是透過意義重構尋求在不同文化語境中的共生繁衍。
《非原創點子 Non-original Idea》嘗試著去重構網路迷因的創作邏輯。翻譯其視覺語言，將這些文化基因的虛擬影像「物化」。實踐私人情緒、政治立場、嚴肅議題的表述。
“Internet memes,” as one of the most influential forms of cultural transmission today, operate through imitation and variation, replicating and re-contextualizing elements of political and social events. In this process, they reflect the collective consciousness of the online generation as well as the concepts and values of cultural communities.
Within the diverse contents and forms of memes, one can recognize methods long familiar since Pop Art and Conceptual Art—such as re-contextualization, imitation, and variation. Through irony and humor, memes foster communal identity, provide emotional relief, and enable political expression. In the competitive dynamics between mass and niche culture, mainstream and subculture, certain memes demonstrate a strong “meme-gene,” with high replicability and a vitality that allows them to cross cultural boundaries.
This is a state of coexistence and interaction, much like the interplay between microorganisms and human genes. Evolution may occur through variation or symbiosis, encompassing myths, language, symbols, and shared memory. The aim is not precise replication or fidelity to an original gene, but the reconstruction of meaning, seeking proliferation and coexistence within different cultural contexts.
《非原創點子 Non-original Idea》 attempts to reconstruct the creative logic of internet memes: to translate their visual language, materialize these cultural genes of virtual imagery, and practice the expression of private emotions, political positions, and serious issues.
