Settling into life in Taiwan is about more than just finding housing or a school — it’s about feeling confident and connected in your new community. Join us at the Center for a friendly and informative orientation designed for newcomers. You’ll meet others who are also adjusting to life here, get answers to your questions, and receive practical tips to make everyday living easier. We’ll cover essential topics such as navigating healthcare, finding reliable resources, and using helpful apps and websites. After the session, you’re welcome to join an optional walking tour of key spots in Tianmu to help you get oriented in the neighborhood.

Founded in 1985, the Community Services Center is a non-profit organization committed to supporting Taiwan's international and third-culture community in navigating the emotional, cultural, and practical adjustments of life in Taiwan through counseling, education, and community resources. As a licensed mental health counseling center, we provide professional counseling services in both English and Chinese. Beyond counseling, we offer a variety of programs and events, including cooking classes, Chinese language courses, tours, and cultural workshops—all designed to help you feel at home in Taiwan.
