Pianist and composer Chris Stiles is known for his deeply swinging style and sophisticated harmonic approach, earning praise from critics like Scott Yanow, who wrote of his 2020 trio performance streamed online at Blue House Productions, "The Chris Stiles Trio swings its way through straight ahead originals and a few obscurities, showing that there is still plenty of life to be found in bebop when it is played with enthusiasm, sophistication and creativity."
Over a career spanning more than 25 years, Chris has performed across the United States and Asia, building a voice rooted in the jazz tradition yet alive with personal history. After five years on the Washington, DC jazz scene, he moved to New Delhi in 2022, becoming a fixture at The Piano Man Jazz Club and collaborating with Indian musicians to expand his musical language. Earlier in his career, he co-founded and composed for the Dragon Jazz Quartet in China, and played packed stadiums in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore alongside stars like Stefanie Sun (孫燕姿) and Karen Mok (莫文蔚). He has also shared American stages with legends such as The Temptations.
In May 2025, Chris released Back Home — a bold new album of original compositions and horn arrangements that capture the fire, grace, and soul of a life spent chasing the music across continents. The recording reflects both his international journey and his grounding in tradition, marking a milestone in his creative output.
Chris studied under virtuoso jazz pianist Chuck Marohnic and award-winning Chicago pianist Michael Kocour at Arizona State University, anchoring his adventurous spirit in deep tradition.

Chris 的音樂旅程橫跨超過 25 年，美國與亞洲舞台皆留下足跡。他在華盛頓特區的爵士樂壇活躍五年後，於 2022 年移居新德里，成為 The Piano Man Jazz Club 的常駐演出者，並與印度音樂家合作，拓展其音樂語彙。更早之前，他在中國共同創立並擔任 Dragon Jazz Quartet 的作曲者，並在台灣、香港與新加坡的體育館舞台上，與孫燕姿與莫文蔚等巨星同台演出，座無虛席。此外，他也曾與美國傳奇組合 The Temptations 同步登台。
