台灣古厝民居不僅是傳統建築工藝的展現，亦是台灣常民生活與歷史文化的重要載體。台灣先民胼手胝足、篳路藍縷在台灣開闢一片新天地，並在各地興建了經典的古厝民居，我們將從北、中、南挑選出三個經典民居，分析其歷史背景、風格特色、空間格局與裝置藝術，從個案中深入了解台灣民居的建築工藝與文化價值，一窺不同地區與族群的建築特色。
