伊琴・基・查爾斯的創作，紮根於自身原住民族群的傳統文化與生活經驗。在相關議題鮮少受到關注的情況下，藝術家試圖透過創作傳遞文化記憶並延續集體經驗。身分認同是其創作的重要核心，但如何在文化背景與個人經驗之間找到屬於自己的聲音，則是藝術家持續探索的方向。在傳統與自我之間尋求平衡，成為其作品中獨特的藝術語言。
本場座談特別邀請國立臺灣史前文化博物館館長蔡政良，與伊琴・基・查爾斯展開對話，從藝術創作的視角出發，深入探討原住民身分、自我認同與文化傳承等議題，如何在當代語境中被重新詮釋與轉譯。

●Introduction
The artistic practice of Ekin Kee Charles is deeply rooted in the traditional culture and lived experiences of her Indigenous heritage. In a context where related issues often receive limited attention, she strives to preserve collective memory and convey cultural identity through her work. While identity remains a central theme in her art, her ongoing exploration focuses on discovering a personal voice—one that emerges at the intersection of cultural background and individual experience. Her pursuit of balance between tradition and self-expression shapes a unique and evolving artistic language.
This artist talk features a special dialogue between Ekin Kee Charles and Dr. Futuru Tsai, the Director of the National Museum of Prehistory. Together, they will explore how Indigenous identity, self-recognition, and cultural transmission can be reinterpreted and expressed through the lens of contemporary artistic practice.
