Tahoe Literary Festival presents a FREE workshop with Nevada County Poet Laureate Karen Terrey of Truckee. This event is hosted by Terrey, Tangled Roots Writing and Tahoe City Library.
The fun workshop is free and open to teens and youth. No previous experience writing poetry is required.
This one-hour workshop for teens/youth and anyone who wants to join. Learn and practice new methods for gaining access to what makes their voices authentic. This generative writing workshop will include reading out loud.

About Terrey:
Karen Terrey currently serves as the Poet Laureate of Nevada County. She is a poet, editor, writing coach, and the founder of Tangled Roots Writing. An alumna of the Community of Writers and a member of the Sierra Arts Foundation, her work has appeared in various journals. Her poetry chapbook, Bite and Blood, is available at local bookstores.
