Bands For Books

Too Fond Of Books is pleased to present Bands For Books, a community-centered music event taking place on April 26, 2025.

This special gathering of music lovers and literacy advocates will raise funds and awareness for Joe’s Bookcase, a fiscally sponsored nonprofit dedicated to promoting book accessibility in underserved communities.

Joe’s Bookcase has made a powerful impact through free book giveaways at back-to-school drives, community book fairs, and literacy awareness events. Their mission is simple yet vital: to get books into the hands of people who need them most, encouraging a lifelong love of reading. Since January 2024, Joe's Bookcase has been able to give away over $50,000 in books to community members on the Cherokee Reservation.

Attendance is free! But we will be hosting a BOOK DRIVE and collecting funds for Joe's Bookcase. A donation is recommended, but not required.

We feel honored and humbled to host such an amazing group of talent for this event. April 26 is Independent Bookstore Day, and we are excited to advocate for continued access to books in our community.
