🌿 Let’s Talk About the Future of Lincoln Park! 🌿
Big things can start with small conversations — and we’d love for you to be part of one.
On Saturday, September 14th at 3 PM, we’re gathering at Lincoln Park to connect with neighbors and community members about safety, access, and the future of this important space. We chose this date because it falls during Welcome Week — a time dedicated to building connection and belonging.
Earlier this year, I was in a serious car accident right next to Lincoln Park at S 37th and Thompson. Some great neighbors came out to check on me and shared stories about the dangers at that intersection. Those conversations sparked a bigger question: how can we make Lincoln Park safer and more accessible, while listening to community input and improving the space?
After walking the park with community leaders and colleagues, I’ve come to see it as a powerful intersection of people, parks, and place. I’m excited to finally share this event with you all!
Join us on September 14th at 3 PM! We’ll have food, canopies if it rains, and we’ll end with a community walk through the park. Let’s build a more connected future — together. 🌟
